M/S Monika was built in Motala Mekaniska Verkstad in the year of 1908, she is therefore over 100 years old and possesses the charm and dignity a ship her age gains over time. Since 2001 she has been renovated thoroughly and is today in a very nice condition. The renovation has been carried out with the thought to preserve the old time charm this ship has and to combine it with modern day comfort. Our cabins are therefore furnished in a maritime, classic style with modern amenities such as a fully equipped bathroom for each room and so on.
When you stay at M/S Monika we want you to dream away to a different time without the urban stress, you will be rocked to sleep gently by the waves and the sun will wake you up by curiously shining in to your cabin. Although the urban stress seems far away when you stay at M/S Monika you are at the same time in the middle of the city as soon as you set foot on the pier. Kungsholms Strand is a cozy and green promenade in the middle of Stockholm. You can walk to the City Central in 10 minutes and you are also very close to all the beautiful sights in Stockholm.
Apart from the fact that you as a guest on M/S Monika are close to all the sights that you can explore on your own, we also want your stay to be a memorable one! We put a lot of effort into our service!
